The only things I hate about GMR are the fact that it’s so dirty and that if you DO fall, the road is so small that you may end up under an SUV. Awesome road for sure, but I prefer the Crest for my religious riding.

GMR, is great …
GMR, is great during the week.Granite if the roads are clean.Free of boulders/gravel etc.But overall a decent place to ride..I PERSONALLY DO NOT RIDE STREET ANYMORE..JUST TRACK,ONLY….

Yea at least 3 …
Yea at least 3 people I know of slipped off. One got caught in a tree and saved from the fall. The other two had their motorcycles fling off the cliff but bodies usually slow faster so they didnt. GMR is 70-75mph tops, so most falls are just dust yourself off, unlike angelst crest which is up to 100+mph fatality rate goes up. GMR is more technical=falls, but slower overall= safer overall.
