i am looking for a cheaper shoe/boot that i can wear on the motorcycle, but not have to change shoes after I’m done riding. i am looking to spend around 60 dollars at the most, unless it is something i really like. i want the fotwear to protect from road-rash and broken ankles if at all possible. no preference on steel-toed or not… what does everyone think?
Combat boots or something with heavy sole, leather and make sure it covers at least your ankles.

HERE’S A PROVEN POINT TO PONDER?! The cheaper the gear the less likely it is to do the intended job! What is you safety REALLY WORTH to you? Do you really want to find out the hard way? Motorcycle accidents cause pain! I PROMISE YOU!!!

Magnum – steel toe, kevlar toungue, tried one one in the shoe store about 7 years ago, and wore it for the rest of the day. Lightweight, and extremely comfortable. LEO’s wear them with their BDU’s.

Don’t sell them or represent them, but have gone through several pairs and still rate them #1.
Like the man said – I would rather have the protection than the cheap $ boots.
