Two years after Kawasaki stepped into the ring to face Suzuki, the ZX-14 and GSX1300R Hayabusa remain the only machines in a universe all their own. No literbike can match the asphalt-peeling 100 ft-lbs of torque that pours forth from these 1340cc-plus hyperbikes.

me i am a kawasaki …
me i am a kawasaki guy, currently i own a zx6r. the only bike i would of buy from suzuki is the buza. is the only one i like from suzuki.
altouhg the zx14 looks way prettier to me, i am a small guy (im 5,5) so i feel like is too big. the biggest bike i will ever have is a zx10. but if some day in the future for some reason i buy a bigger bike i think it would be the buza. cause i feel like it’ll work better for me than the zx14. sizewise.

Its really difficult to call superiority of different bike manufactures at this level. I’m a Kawasaki man, but I rate Honda’s down the ground and who would be stupid enough to think a ZX 14 or Hayabusa are anything but mindbogglingly amazing bikes
suzuki and kawasaki …
suzuki and kawasaki are my favorite kind of bikes. but ive taken both of these for a spin and i have to say the hayabusa is a little better than the zx. the hayabusa you can switch the modes to what you need it for. Road, Strait track, and circuit track. but kawasaki was going for the fastest bike, and they got it.

lame suspension? how come its taken kawasaki 8 years to comeup with a bike to take on the gixxer thou. Dont get me wrong, im the worlds biggest kawasaki fan and wouldnt buy anything other, but suzuki make good bikes

i love both suzuki …
i love both suzuki and kawasaki, they have kept each other in check for 25 years that i can think of. the busa and 14r are splitting hairs between them. but as a sport bike fan i still lean to the 1000cc models. yes 90% of the power, but when the road starts to turn the 1000cc bikes show that they handle a lot better. and i’d take a 1000cc form suz. kaw. honda or yam. over these two. because these four put out 1000cc bikes that run and handle great.

i dont have anything against any one from difrent counrtys (exept for france) its just that im not saying that america has better riders. the reason you believe that you have better or more riders is becuase its more popular there there ar not as many riders in the sport.

hi.I have to disagree w u,cus my first bike what I was riding was a 2003 zx7R Kawasak(123HP,505LB.)i.I never laid down or dropped the bike,BUT i am strong(workout) and i have good balance,+ probably the most important is that I am EXTREMELY CAREFUL w it!I would say it really depends on the rider s skill!+ I am from Europe…the best riders are europeans…nobody can t denided it!! XD
