Is it still safe even in floods 6 inches deep, or what I mean is is it safe to ride it even if it’s raining?

I would experiment …
I would experiment with regen breaking and a sidecar with more batteries. Batteries from a123systems (LiFEPO4 i think) would get you more power and increased life span. Best would be batteries from altairnano but unfortunately they don’t sell any online. Keep up the good work. It is very inspiring.

in the realities of …
in the realities of San Francisco hills, about 12-18 miles per charge on both 4 old 80 Ah batteries and 4 new 50 Ah batteries

We tried putting …
We tried putting all the batteries in there, but didn’t want to chop the frame, (eventually I replaced them with smaller ones that did fit) – but these original ones didn’t really fit and was a mess. We then decided no gas tank is a better visual than a non-functional one. as in, why try to replicate the look of old tech when I’m so proud of the new? Thanks!

you know, you could …
you know, you could have used the gas tank to house the electronics. it would be more asteticly pleasing. plus, you might have been able to fit the other two battries under the tank, makeing it a little more stable

You ume far too …
You ume far too much. My generation is indeed plagued by many problems, I am however intent on not being one of them. “We” are the world and its inhabitants including you. I drive a car and I ride a bike, its a Harley, I also have a Honda Dominator on the bench being converted as we speak. So you kind of win your bet and lose your bet. I spend my spare time in energy conversions and research as well as practicing greener living. Less of the trash talk and more about matters of concern eh?

Haha, Yeah well …
Haha, Yeah well that’s just common knowledge from middle school.. the process of photosynthesis converts c02, water and sunlight into oxygen.. so when I hear about all the green house gases and the whole global warming craze I laugh because the cause of it is Co2.
